Our Team
Hoot + Howl is a passion project led by Founder Callan Deline and Head Distiller Chris Ritenour, our diverse approach brings an inventive lineup of spirits to the Front Range of Colorado.

A 7th generation Coloradan with deep roots in a family brewery, I founded Hoot + Howl Spirits to craft bold, mountain-inspired spirits—blending tradition and innovation with my love for hootin’ and howling under the wide-open skies.
Chris Ritenour
Head Distiller
With over a decade of experience as a leading distiller, Chris pours his passion into crafting distinctive whiskeys, gins, and liqueurs. Known for his skill and creativeness with unique flavors, Chris blends time-honored craftsmanship with innovation, creating old-world inspired spirits that deliver a fresh, modern perspective.
